Skincare Favourites for 2021

From Anti Ageing Retinol, to Blemish blasting Salicylic Acid, here a bunch of my favourite skincare items I use every week.

So generally my skin is combination which basically just means its sometimes dry in areas, others oily and I also suffer with hormonal breakouts...those little fuckers that like to gather around your chin and jawline.

I've broke down the products I use into three sections general skincare (things i use to keep my skin poppin when its already looking cute). Anti Aging, this is that good shit that helps me stay looking like an embryo and products that tackle blemishes.

General Skincare

I love this for taking off my make up as it literally just melts it away, you can also use this as a mask if your skins feeling a little dry.

This was my introductory set when trying out The Ordinary. I would recommend this to people wanting to incorp a new skincare routine with normal-combi skin.

Anti Aging

I'm not going to get into the science of Retinoids but basically, incorporate then into your skincare asap, start with a super low % and build up your skins tolerance as it can be super drying, but basically, its the best topical treatment for anti-aging.

Okay so this is definitely on the pricier side, but I cannot live without it after using it. I don't know what sorcery they're using but it literally makes the lines around my eyes disappear.

Anti-Blemish / Acne

A chemical exfoliant that helps shed your gross dead skin and leave it looking bright! I've seen a huge difference in my acne scar colouring.

A treatment that reduces the discolouration of breakouts, I also find it leave my skin looking brighter with a more even skin tone all around.

For me, this is a holy grail cleanser, it helps keep those little bumps you can get on your face, arms etc at bay. I always can tell when I've stopped using it because it makes such a difference keeping down the spots/clogging that would otherwise pop up.
